The 2010 Australian Open was a tennis tournament celebrated in Melbourne Park in Melbourne , Australia, from January 18 to January 31. It was the 98th edition of the Australian Open, and the first Grand Slam event of the year. Roger Federer was the men's champion this edition, he won to Andy Murray in the final for sets 6–3, 6–4, 7–6. Nadal won this tournament in 2009.
